British band Culture Club, headed by Boy George, proved they still have what it takes to be stars when they sang ‘Karma Chameleon’ live at Edinburgh Castle over the weekend. The concert was a two-hour open-air concert held in the Scottish castle and not only featured Culture Club and Boy George, but also acts like Paloma Faith, Ella Henderson and Kaiser Chiefs.
Interestingly, Boy George sounds completely different on this 2014 version of ‘Karma Chameleon’ than he did back when it was first released in 1982. But different in a good way.
Nowadays, his voice is deeper, richer and a lot more mature but, from the crowd reaction after his performance, it was definitely a hit.
Maybe they all felt like me? Boy George has finally matured into his talent and he’s actually become quite something.
