Death Cab for Cutie releases acoustic version of ‘Passenger Seat‘
There is a beautiful video on Death Cab for Cutie’s YouTube channel. An acoustic version of lead singer Ben Gibbard singing a solo version of Death Cab for Cutie’s ‘Passenger Seat‘ from the band’s 2003 album Transatlanticism, and it is so sad.
The track was recorded at Hear Me Shimmer Studios in Seattle, Washington with just Ben at the mic and Zac Rae on the piano.

As for the band, they are currently on tour around the US promoting their latest studio album Kintsugi — an album that has been a smash hit since release. Dates in the UK and EU will kick off later in the year.
