American singer Demi Lovato was at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge this week where she sang a cover of Hozier’s ‘Take Me To Church‘ and, as everything Demi does, she, of course, slayed it.
And if you thought Hozier’s getting almost 256 million views on YouTube in the two years it has been up was amazing, you might want to keep checking Lovato’s cover video, as it’s already stacked up almost a million views in less than 24 hours.
No surprise as Demi’s voice is incredible here — sultry, raspy and much more raw than what we’re used to. Oddly too, though, she also sounds like Germany’s Ann Sophie, although I think Ann Sophie’s voice is even richer.
