Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 4 was revealed at BlizzCon 2019 this week, with a gorgeous cinematic that shows just how bloody this upcoming dungeon crawler RPG will be.
The cinematic, which begins very Raiders of the Lost Ark, has four adventurers deep in a dungeon system looking for lost treasure.
Four adventurers, that is, until one of them stops one man escaping from the clutches of the dungeon’s enormous monster population by causing a large stone door to block his escape.
Then there were three.
Yes, the upcoming Diablo IV is going to be bloody, violent and with gorgeous graphics. yay!
The game itself is set a few decades after Diablo 3, when Lilith the creator of humanity is resurrected.
But don’t expect her to be a benign creator bestowing life and grace onto her followers. Instead, she’s the mistress of all destruction and needs to be killed.
You will start off as one of three classes — a barbarian, sorceress, or druid — with two other classes being revealed at a later date.

Diablo 4 is currently in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, with no set date for a release as yet. Critics are currently guessing the game might see the light of day some time in 2021.
