Doubt Ep 10 has huge ratings increase as K-drama ends on highest ever viewership

The final episode of the MBC drama Doubt saw a massive rise in its viewership last night, with the K-drama grabbing its highest ever viewership.

Nielsen Korea data shows Doubt, Episode 10 grabbed 9.6 percent of the nationwide audience on Friday night, which is a huge increase from its previous episode’s 6.8 percent the previous night.

Viewers in Seoul also showed up in much higher numbers to see the mystery and intrigue of one of the year’s best and most well-acted and written crime dramas play out.

Those viewers gave Doubt, Episode 10 9.2 percent of the audience share — again, a big jump from Episode 9’s audience share of 6.3 percent.

Both the nationwide and Seoul ratings last night also helped give the MBC drama excellent per episode average ratings of 6.4 percent nationwide, and 6.1 percent in Seoul.

The series finale of Doubt was also the 3rd most-watched show of any kind in South Korea for all of Friday.

Doubt premiered on October 11th and ran through November 15th.

The K-drama stars Han Suk Kyu, who gave one of the best performances of his life, alongside Chae Won Bin, who was equally superb.

All 10 episodes of this excellent Korean drama are now streaming internationally on Viki, where it is receiving a 9.1 out of 10 rating and on KOCOWA.
