As the Korean drama headed into its second half, and with just four episodes of the stellar series left to air, Doubt, Episode 6 aired last night in South Korea to yet more all-time high ratings.
All-time high ratings both nationwide and in Seoul, by the way.
Nielsen Korea’s latest data shows Doubt, Episode 6 grabbed 7.6 percent of the nationwide audience.
That is an increase from its previous episode’s already strong 6.0 percent nationwide viewership.
The K-drama also performed similarly well with Seoul audiences on Friday night, earning 7.0 percent of the audience, which is up from last week’s 6.5 percent.
Audiences are loving the Doubt intrigue
Higher ratings for Doubt that are not surprising either.
Not if you listen to many of the K-drama fans currently watching Doubt who are commenting. (Well, at least those fans who don’t mind having to think when they watch a drama!):
The suspense is on another level…the cliffhangers at the end of each episode are mind-blowing, keeping us on edge every time. Kudos to the creators for making something so layered and gripping. It’s a rare find.
and
Every episode is insane… the suspense is 10/10.
And yep, Doubt is brilliantly written by Han Ah Young (한아영), superbly acted by leads Han Suk Kyu, Chae Won Bin, Han Ye Ri, and Oh Yeon Soo, and the cinematography is beautiful.
If you enjoyed Black Out (who didn’t!), and haven’t yet begun watching this, you should get to it now, as there are only 4 episodes left and you wouldn’t want to miss that payoff everyone else will be loving, eh?
It really is one of the gems of 2024.
Doubt, Episode 7 will air on MBC later on tonight, with both Viki and KOCOWA streaming it outside South Korea.
