William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with Prince Harry, seem to have been enjoying themselves at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow yesterday. The trio attended swimming events, gymnastics,  boxing, and watched Wales play Scotland in the Women’s Hockey.

In most events, the royal trio went relatively unnoticed until the commentator mentioned they were in the arena or their faces were suddenly splashed onto the large screens around the event.

Then crowds applauded, screamed and waved flags, seeming quite happy William, Kate and Harry were enjoying the Commonwealth Games just as much as they were.

The Commonwealth Games in Glasgow have had quite a good royal turnout as the Queen and Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, were also at the games on July 24th, the first day of competition, and saw England play Wales in the Women’s Hockey.

Queen Elizabeth and her husband also attended swimming heats, met athletes and volunteers and attended a luncheon in their honour.

You can keep up with more of what Prince William, his wife Kate, Prince Harry, and the rest of the royal family are doing by checking out The British Monarchy Google + page every day. They post some lovely photos as well.
