EA Says Titanfall Will be Exclusive to PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One

Titanfall – exclusive to Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC

Electronic Arts, along with Microsoft, has just announced the upcoming first-person shooter Titanfall will be exclusive to PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, with no release for PlayStation 4 – ever. Seeing as how Titanfall has already received a boatload of awards (75 to be exact), that’s quite a coup for the Xbox (and the PC, of course).

But, with the Xbox One (commonly known as the Xbone) having had such a disastrous lead up to its soon-to-arrive release date, it’s probably not surprising Microsoft will be signing deals with some video game publishers to only release their games for the Xbox and PC. After all, there has to be some reason to buy an Xbox One (although I can’t find one).

So, Titanfall will be exclusive on the Xbox and PC. Well, as most of my games are played on my PC anyway, looks like that’s where I’ll be playing it. Sorry, Microsoft. Restrictive exclusives are still not going to make me buy the Xbone, and I tend to think that’s the case for most people who have already made up their minds which new console they want this Christmas. Nice try, though.
