Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi Prove Why Gays Should be Allowed to Marry (Video)
If you are one of those people who think there is something wrong with gays and believe gay people should never be able to marry, you really should watch this short video of Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, on Oprah.
The interview with Oprah was filmed around a year after Ellen and Portia had gotten married, yet they are still so much in love it’s delightful to watch.
Just look how Ellen’s face lights up when Portia walks into the room, and how she can barely take her eyes of Portia’s face when she’s talking.
Then watch Portia tell how she first met Ellen and how, months later, still afraid to say how she felt because she was scared she would lose her career if people discovered she was gay, she bumped into Ellen DeGeneres at a photo shoot.
She went over to say hello, but the reaction she herself got when Ellen turned around wasn’t something Portia was expecting. An arrow shot straight to her heart and she felt weak at the knees.
Now tell me, what Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi feel for each other isn’t love.
Of course, it is. And it’s beautiful.
