The supernatural reincarnation manga Oshi no Ko written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari not only has an anime adaptation currently airing in Japan, but the manga is also now being published in English.
The English translation of Oshi no Ko Volume 1 came out via Yen Press in mid-January, with Volume 2 due out next month.
With the anime series now receiving such high acclaim, and with 11 volumes already out in Japanese, it is highly likely Yen Press may speed up its English publication of future volumes as well.
Yen Press describes the rather convoluted plot of Oshi no Ko like this:
In show business, lies are a weapon.
Gorou is an ob-gyn with a life far removed from the glitz and glamour of the entertainment industry—the world of his favorite idol, rising star Ai Hoshino. But when the two are unexpectedly brought together, their fates become intertwined in ways that defy all reason.
For the good doctor, it’s time to stan(d) and deliver!

The English translation of Oshi no Ko is available via Yen Press in both a trade paperback for $13 and in a digital download for $6.99.
The manga’s anime adaptation, which is produced by Doga Kobo and directed by Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project), is not yet streaming outside Japan.
It is, however, due to premiere on HiDive on April 12th.

And yep, having already read the English translation of Oshi no Ko Volume 1, I can guarantee the manga is just as good.
