Excellent Black Butler -Public School Arc English dub cast start voicing anime this week

TheĀ Black Butler -Public School Arc- English dub cast has been announced and, if you’re an anime dub fan and a long-time Black Butler viewer, I guarantee you couldn’t be happier.

Especially when you learn the English dub is due out tomorrow, April 27th, on Crunchyroll, and you’ll finally get to see Ciel being around people his own age for the first time – and speaking in a language you understand.

Of course, there are the new character designs in theĀ Black Butler -Public School Arc- that you’ll love or hate (I’m on the “quite liking” side so far, especially when it comes to Sebastian) — and the new animation studio CloverWorks, who has taken over from A-1 Pictures but, overall, despite some minor flaws, we finally have another season of Black Butler 10 years after the third one ended.

And now we have a Black Butler -Public School Arc- English dub cast, that’s an excellent one. Especially as it includes two voice actors who, frankly, can’t be replaced, and a couple of other heavy hitters.

Fans of Black Butler will immediately notice the iconic anime’s two main voice actors are back reprising their roles from every season and movie:

Brina Palencia as Ciel

J. Michael Tatum as Sebastian

Yep, their characters may be designed differently but, as long as they sound the same, most of us will eventually let those new looks grow on us.

Joining them are a new cast of voice actors as, obviously with Ceil now attending Weston College at the behest of Queen Victoria, a whole slew of English public school boys are joining the fun.

They are:

Reagan Murdock (Kichi in Re:Monster) who is voicing Redmond

Brandon McInnis (Gen in Dr. Stone) voicing Bluewer

Jonah Scott (Tatsu in The Way of the Househusband) plays Greenhill

Kieran Flitton (Zagan in An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride) is Violet

CiarƔn Strange (Denji in Chainsaw Man) plays McMillan

Christian Taylor (Jigra and Dosun in One Piece) is Clayton

Branden Loera (Shinai in Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy) is Cheslock

Andrew Webb voices Agares

As for the anime’s English dub Voice Director, that role has gone to Caitlin Glass.

The first time you can hear the Black Butler -Public School Arc- English dub cast in action will be tomorrow, when Episode 1 premieres on Crunchyroll.

Meanwhile, the original Japanese version hit the streaming service on April 13th, with two episodes now streaming on Crunchyroll,Ā and a third due out tomorrow.
