Foo Fighters just finished up a week of live performances on The Late Show with David Letterman with this rocking performance of their new single from their upcoming album ‘Sonic Highways‘.
Called ‘Something From Nothing‘, Cheap Trick’s lead guitarist Rick Nielsen guested on the song with them, and made this track sound awesome. In fact, I love how it starts off slow and mellow and then gets loud and hard and just — rocks. How cool is that?
As usual, Foo Fighters on David Letterman prove why they’ve been around for years — they’re amazing. And Dave Grohl? God, his voice just gets better and better.
Listen to ‘Something From Nothing’ below. Now that’s what a live performance should sound like.
And look for their new album ‘Sonic Highway’, which will be released on November 10th, 2014.
