Dave Grohl and his band Foo Fighters have been around for years, (well, 1994 to be exact) yet, every time I hear them, I’m still amazed at how good they are.
This week the Foo Fighters have been on the Late Show with David Letterman every night, but were particularly good on Tuesday night — especially as one of the songs they played was “Kick It Out‘, a song that, on Letterman, featured Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson upfront and center.
Foo Fighters were also on Letterman to promote their new album. Called ‘Sonic Highways‘, it’s due for release on November 10th, with an HBO documentary series about the making of the album hitting the TV screen tonight.
A busy week for Foo Fighters, but one I’m really enjoying so far.
Meanwhile, don’t miss the Foo Fighters with Ann and Nancy Wilson singing ‘Kick It Out’ – as it’s a pretty wild and raucous (and fabulous) performance.
