Free! anime movie releasing in 2021 — new trailer teases cute boys to obsess over
Kyoto Animation‘s planned Free! anime movie was delayed last year after an arson attack that destroyed one of the company’s studios, injured 34 members of staff and killed 36 others.
Today, the Japanese animation studio released a new Free! trailer and a key visual that not only promises a 2021 release date, but also teases some of the incredibly cute boys in it.
Of course, we don’t know who will be competing together in the next swimming competition, but we do know there are definitely boys we will be obsessing over once the anime film releases.
As of yet, KyoAni has not announced a specific date in 2021 for the movie release but, as the film was initially meant to be released close to the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan originally planned for July 2020 before the coronavirus mess hit, it is a safe bet the film will probably hit movie theater screens close to the re-scheduled games in July next year.
Until we know more, watch the cute Free! anime movie trailer below and start planning which ace swimmer is likely to become your new obsession.
