Ellen DeGeneres has had some amazing artists singing live on The Ellen Show in the last year. This week she had British singer George Ezra singing his hit song ‘Budapest‘ live on Ellen and, wow, did he give an awesome performance.
And it is odd when you listen to George Ezra. From the way he sounds, you expect him to be a large middle-aged American black man. Instead, he’s a skinny 21-year old British white guy, who just happens to like singing with a ‘big voice’, and loves Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie.
George Ezra’s ‘Budapest’ was released in June, 2014 in the UK as the first single from his debut album ‘Wanted on Voyage‘. It hit number 3 there, and then number 1 in Austria and New Zealand, as well as being a top 10 hit in a slew of other countries.
As for Ezra’s ‘Wanted on Voyage‘, it’s already released in the UK and Europe, but will be releasing in the United States in a couple of days.
No wonder George Ezra made an appearance on The Ellen Show. Just to introduce himself and remind you all to buy it.
