George Ezra gave a beautiful performance of ‘Budapest‘ on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday night. So much so, it’s looking like his American fan base is just going to grow and grow.
Ezra, of course, is also in America for a couple of gigs at Coachella. One of which he sadly had to cancel last weekend due to a case of laryngitis. But, with his stellar performance on The Late Late Show on Monday night, it sounds like he’s already completely recovered and should be more than ready when next weekend’s Coachella rolls around.
‘Budapest‘, of course, is from George Ezra’s debut album Wanted on Voyage, and was a massive hit for Ezra in the UK and elsewhere in Europe.
Even more amazing when you consider Ezra was only 19 at the time, yet has a voice that is so rich and mature he sounds like he’s in his 30s.
Listen to him singing ‘Budapest’ on James Corden’s Late Late Show and see what I mean.
Note: Sadly, James Corden has deleted the performance from his YouTube channel, so I’m substituting George Ezra singing ‘Budapest‘ on RTE’s ‘The Late Late Show‘ instead. It’s just as good.
