Goo Goo Dolls’ ‘Come To Me’ is beautifully written and addictive — Repeat Rotation Video

Goo Goo Dolls’ ‘Come To Me‘ is beautifully written and addictive

It has been a while since I have chosen a Repeat Rotation Video to share on Leo Sigh. That is because life gets in the way and, as the current sole writer for Leo Sigh, there are sadly only a finite number of hours in my day and listening to music on repeat does not always fit into them.

Today, however, I chose a Repeat Rotation Video quite early in the morning — the brilliant Goo Goo Dolls track ‘Come To Me‘. A song I was just in the mood to listen to, as I think it is beautifully written lyrically and musically, and absolutely addictive.

It is also the song that showed up in a Hope For Paws video I re-watched today. A video that reminded me how beautiful the song was, and what a happy sound it is.

Hope For Paws, if you haven’t watched their YouTube channel, is a superb dog rescue organization based in Los Angeles. They are also one of the most popular animal rescue channels on YouTube, not only for the superb work they do but also due to the high quality of their videos.

During their videos, they occasionally use snippets of popular music to illustrate part of the rescue they are showing. Goo Goo Dolls ‘Come To Me‘ is one of these songs on a video about a poodle rescue.

Come To Me‘ is from the alternative rock bands’ 2013 album Magnetic, and is one of the most successful singles the band has released appearing on five Billboard charts at number 24 or higher and at number 45 on the end-of-the-year US Hot Rock Song chart.

It is also a song with the prettiest video of couples in love.

Watch it below and, as always for my Repeat Rotation Videos, play it with headphones, LOUD and dancing!
