Ongoing SBS drama Good Partner, Episode 9 aired on Saturday night to a huge ratings increase versus its previous already-highest-ever-rated Friday episode.
The latest data via Nielsen Korea shows Good Partner, Episode 9 grabbed a massive 17.2 percent of the audience last night.
While that is still .50 percent away from its highest ever rating , which it earned for Episode 7 (17.7 percent), it was still enough to make the Korean drama #1 across all TV channels in its time slot.
It was also only just under 1.0 percent point away from the massive 18.4 percent the hugely successful and always #1 for-all-of-Saturday-and-Sunday weekend drama Beauty and Mr. Romantic earned yesterday.
Who knows. Maybe next week, Good Partner can out-perform it?
Meanwhile, in Seoul, Good Partner, Episode 9 earned an even higher 17.8 percent audience share.
Good Partner is headed by the superb female duo of Jang Na Ra and Nam Ji Hyun.
The Korean drama began with a nationwide rating of just 7.8 percent of the viewership for its first episode on July 12th and has skyrocketed from there.
Then again, every percentage point it has earned as every new episode is released has been well deserved.
