GORGEOUS The Duke of Death and His Maid S2 key visual out plus NEW trailer and PREMIERE date

The Duke of Death and His Maid, Season 2 will premiere on July 9th

With The Duke of Death and His Maid, Season 2 apparently set to premiere on July 9th, along with the premiere date, the official website for the anime has also released a new trailer and a gorgeous The Duke of Death and His Maid, Season 2 key visual.

That key visual features not only Bocchan and Alice, but also every one of the anime’s key supporting characters.

All of them are dressed as if they are heading out in the rain, clutching varied colored umbrellas and all dressed up as they appear to be.

All of them also seem happy enough to be doing that, except for Bocchan, who is clutching a rose, and only has bashful eyes for Alice.

The Duke of Death and His Maid Season 2 trailer

As for the new The Duke of Death and His Maid, Season 2 trailer, that gives us a lovely look into how much Bocchan still loves Alice as it kicks off with him shouting “I’m going to marry Alice”.

We then see Alice saying how cute Bocchan always is, and it is obvious she feels the same way.

The new trailer continues with a check in on Caph who is worried that Zain might leave, Walter telling Daleth “You’re beautiful”, and ends with Alice admitting she would be happy if she can be with Bocchan forever.

The new The Duke of Death and His Maid Season 2 trailer also features snippets of the anime’s opening and ending theme songs.

The new opening theme song is ‘Kimi to Revue‘ by the Duke and Alice (aka voice actors Natsuki Hanae and Ayumi Mano), with the ending theme Hoshikuzu Requiem performed by popular YouTuber and singer Nasuo☆.

Meanwhile, if you want to catch up on the anime before Season 2 hits on July 9th, Crunchyroll is streaming the first season of the popular romantic comedy, and will likely end up with the second season as well.

That streaming platform has this to say about its plot:

Due to a childhood curse, anything that the Duke touches will die, which makes his flirty maid’s behavior all the more shocking!

And yep, thank God Bocchan has Alice, eh?
