Harry Connick Jr. was apparently a bit tired of all the would-be contestants auditioning for the new season of ‘American Idol’ singing Sia’s ‘Chandelier’ but not being able to hit the high notes. (Well, it is a difficult song).
So, Connick Jr. decided to take matters into his own hands and sing ‘Chandelier‘ himself. Hilariously. Of course.

It being Harry Connick Jr., unsurprisingly he could hit the high notes, although like fellow judge JLo told him, if he didn’t stop, he was going to “hurt himself”.
Watch Harry Connick Jr. singing Sia’s ‘Chandelier‘ in the video below. Best ‘American Idol‘ performance I’ve seen so far. But, ow, my throat hurts just watching him.
