The upcoming anime adaptation of Shin Arakai’s light novel series Hero Classroom just got a main characters introduction trailer today and, if you are looking for an action fantasy anime with a bit of ecchi thrown in, this one may be for you.
Especially as the main female characters in it are adorably cute.
The official website for the school-themed anime (aka Eiyuu Kyoushitsu in Japan, and also known as Class Room For Heroes in the west) released the Hero Classroom main characters trailer earlier today, with the trailer introducing all six main characters.
Those six main characters are:
- Blade — who is played by Reiji Kawashima (Finn Ames in Mashle)
- Sophi — voiced by Nao Toyama (Sibylla in Spy Classroom)
- Arnest Flaming — who is voiced by Misuzu Yamada ( Koshi Nagumo in Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory)
- Cú Chulainn — who is played by Hina Kino (Flora in Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear)
- Maria/Maou – voiced by Sarah Emi Bridcutt (Senri in ChäoS;Child)
- Iona — voiced by Aya Uchida (Kotori Minami in Love Live!)
Along with the Hero Classroom main characters trailer, eight other cast members were also announced at the same time.
They are:
Eri Yukimura, Haruka Shiraishi, Shuichi Uchida, Tomohiro Ohno and Tomohito Takatsuka.
Keiichiro Kawaguchi (Spy Classroom) is directing the fantasy anime, with series composition by Naoki Hayashi (Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU).
The chief animation director and character designer is Kosuke Kawamura (Remake Our Life!), while anime production is being carried out by Actas Inc. (Princess Principal).
A second Hero Classroom key visual was also released at the same time as the trailer. (See above)
That vibrantly colored and very cute visual features (from left to right and front to back) Arnest, Blade, Sophie, Iona, Cú, and Maria/Maou all showing off their own unique style.
As you might expect too, the girls are a little scantily dressed. Hmmm.
The Hero Classroom anime is due to premiere some time in July.
Watch the new Hero Classroom main characters introduction trailer below to get a good idea of who the main characters are and what kind of hereos they might end up becoming.
