After a few months’ wait, fans of Japanese mangaka Shō Harusono will be pleased to hear Hirano and Kagiura, Volume 2 is due out later this month.
The first volume in the spinoff from the Sasaki and Miyano manga series was published last November, and Yen Press is now following it up with the latest in the Boys’ Love story.
As fans will remember, the first volume of the Hirano and Kagiura manga ended with Kagiura confessing to Hirano, and Hirano not getting it at all.
Or, at least, we don’t think so.
That is why Hirano and Kagiura, Volume 2 had better shed some light on the issue, right?

According to Yen Press, the plot of Hirano and Kagiura, Volume 2 kicks off like this:
Okay, so his first attempt didn’t work. Hirano somehow managed to turn Kagi’s attempt at a confession into nothing. If it was intentional, then does that mean he…doesn’t like Kagi back?
Indulging him at every turn, treating him differently than anyone else—it’s not possible that Hirano sees him as just a friend. Is it?
Hirano and Kagiura, Volume 2 will be published by Yen Press on March 21st, 2023 in both trade paperback, and in digital format.
