Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! English dub cast includes Mikaela Krantz and Matt Shipman

Some of the Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! English dub cast has been announced and, as you might expect, some of the voice acting world’s most successful actors are featured on it.

You won’t have to wait long to hear them either, as the first episode of the English dub will premiere on Crunchyroll later on today. (January 22nd, 2024)

Just three voice actors with named roles have been announced for the Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! English dub cast so far, with others playing “additional voices” also named.

The three main VAs are:

  • Matt Shipman (Chrome in Dr. Stone) who is playing protagonist Tsubasa Shiki
  • Mikaela Krantz (Ai in Wonder Egg Priority) is voicing Minami Fuyuki
  • Travis Mullenix (Sable in The Dawn of the Witch) as Matsuo Takayumi
  • Alex Hom, Jason Crawford Jordan and Preston Isham are playing “Additional Voices”

Jeremy Inman is the Voice Director for the English dub, with Samantha Herek producing and Madeleine Morris adapting the Japanese original for localization.

Misuzu Hoshino is directing the original Japanese anime in his first directing role, with Mirai Minato in charge of series composition and also acting as chief-director, while Katsuyuki Satou is designing the characters.

Studios Silver Link and Blade are in charge of anime production.

Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Kai Ikada.

It has 12 volumes out in Japan so far, while an English translation has yet to get an official release for either digital or paperback, although you can read the manga for free via the Manga Plus app.

The anime itself is a relaxing, light-hearted show with some great humor and characters that are, yep, adorable.
