Just about every video gamer I know is obsessed with the Minions from Despicable Me. But not just the Despicable Me : Minion Rush game. Nope, they’re also obsessed with Minions food and particularly Minions cookies.
That’s why recently, when I had a video game-related get-together, one of the things I made for my friends were four dozen Despicable Me Minions cookies. And, yep, four dozen cookies for 10 people sounds like a lot. Believe me, not one of them was left at the end of the night and a couple of people were still asking for more.
So, if you have a group of friends who love Despicable Me and are huge fans of the Minions, how do you make Minions cookies?
That’s easy, just watch this video from YouTube’s Haniela,. and then get started with your templates and icing. It doesn’t take any time at all, yet the Minions cookies that appear are absolutely adorable.
Just remember, you must leave the cookies overnight so that the icing dries properly, so it’s best to make them the day before and then store them in an airtight container.
They only take a few minutes to ice, though, and look incredibly cool when you’re done.
