If It’s For My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord is happy and upbeat

If It’s For My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord is just about the cutest slice of life anime series I have watched in eons.

It also comes with a happy and upbeat song — ‘I’m With You’ sung by Kanon Takao — the voice actress that plays the part of the series’ main character Latina.

A song you will listen to once, and then have on repeat for the better part of the day. It’s that catchy.

Besides, not only is it a feel good song, but it also comes with the opening animation for If It’s For My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord.

Animation that stars the utterly adorable Latina — the eight-year-old demon at the center of the story — and the anime character half the fandom seems to have fallen in love with this year.

Latina and Dale

Latina, of course, is the little demon girl 18-year-old adventurer Dale discovers wandering alone in the forest after her father has died.

At first, Dale plans to take her into town, buy her some clean clothes and then drop her off at the local orphanage.

That plan lasts only a few hours, however, before Latina has wound herself around his little finger and into his heart.

Now Dale’s life completely changes as, rather than going out adventuring, he wants to spend every waking minute with Latina.

The adopted daughter he now loves.

You can watch If It’s For My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord on Crunchyroll, and listen to ‘I’m With You’ by Kanon Takao in the opening sequence video below.
