Jo Min Soo, Jung Jin Young, Jeon Seok Ho join Jeon Hye Jin in Riding Life drama

I have to say I am thrilled to see the incredibly talented Korean actress Jeon Hye Jin continue to be cast in some quite intriguing dramas.

Especially after the hellish year she has likely had since the death of her husband, Lee Sun Kyun, due to suicide in late 2023.

The latest project Jeon Hye Jin is involved in is the upcoming K-drama Riding Life, which has just been confirmed to also be starring Jo Min Soo, Jung Jin Young, and Jeon Seok Ho.

Riding Life has also been confirmed as already in production, with filming started and a projected 2025 premiere date.

What is K-drama Riding Life about?

The upcoming new drama Riding Life is directed by Kim Chul Gyu (Celebrity), and tells the story of working mother Lee Jung Eun (played by Jeon Hye Jin).

Jung Eun works in the beauty industry as a marketing executive, but is a woman who also has to worry about the education her young daughter is getting while she is at work.

Meanwhile, Jo Min Soo plays Jung Eun’s mother, Yoon Ji Ah, an art therapist who raised her daughter as a single mother.

She becomes involved in her granddaughter’s education by taking her to after-school art programs while her mother, Jung Eun, is working.

Jung Jin Young plays Lee Young Wook, an English professor who becomes interested in Yoon Ji Ah after he meets her while also taking his granddaughter to an after-school art program.

Then there is Jeon Seok Ho who plays Jung Eun’s husband. A man who, while he may be immature, still priorities the needs of his family above everything else.

Not much more information has been released about Riding Life, except that we can expect it to release next year.

As for the main cast, they are all seasons veterans with many other popular K-dramas under their belt.

Jeon Hye Jin starred in the superb Genie TV/ENA drama Not Others late last year, while Jung Jin Young starred in Shadow Detective with support roles in LTNS and Queen of Tears.

Meanwhile, actress Jo Min Soo was last seen in the tvN drama The Cursed in 2020, while Jeon Seok Ho currently has a supporting role in Love Next Door.
