KamiErabi GOD.app’s Gorou Ono character visual is STUNNING – anime is visually GORGEOUS

There is a new original anime series on its way later on in the year that looks visually gorgeous and very interesting.

The anime is titled KamiErabi GOD.app, and was created by renowned Japanese video director Yoko Taro (Drakengard and Nier: Automata).

The minute I saw his name attached to the project, I was intrigued, as everything he creates is dark, strange and unusual.

To make the anime even more interesting, today, the official KamiErabi GOD.app Twitter account released the first character visual for the anime’s protagonist Gorou Ono.

A protagonist who is small, slender and seems to be quite fragile.

Watch the KamiErabi GOD.app teaser trailer released by Crunchyroll a couple of months ago, and it also appears he may just be in some major danger as the world he lives in suddenly goes crazy. (Watch that trailer below)

The Gorou Ono character visual was drawn by Atsushi Ohkubo (original creator of Fire Force and Soul Eater), who will be making his character designer debut on KamiErabi GOD.app.

The anime itself is being directed by Hiroyuki Seshita (Ajin), with musician, producer and composer Jin (creator of Listeners) responsible for scripts and series composition.

Studio Unend is in charge of anime production. KamiErabi GOD.app is their first anime series.

Not much more is known about the anime as yet, but with heavy hitters like Yoko Taro and Atsushi Ohkubo on the project, if nothing else this one should be one of the more unusual anime of the Fall, 2023 season.

KamiErabi GOD.app is scheduled to premiere some time in October, with Crunchyroll streaming it outside Japan.

We will keep you updated as more information about the anime is released.
