Kang Na Eon and Kim Woo Seok starring in Zero Period Is Social Butterflies’ Time

Korean actress Kang Na Eon has been confirmed as starring in the upcoming drama Zero Period Is Social Butterflies’ Time (working title) alongside Kim Woo Seok.

The 23-year-old actress was a big hit in last year’s Crash Course in Romance and Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938.

With Zero Period Is Social Butterflies’ Time set to stream on an OTT platform in October, her starring role will be her third appearance in a drama this year as she also starred in TVING’s Pyramid Game back in February, and had a supporting role in tvN’s Wedding Impossible the same month.

As for co-star Kim Woo Seok, it will be the 27-year-old actor and singer’s first role since his main role in 2023’s Night Has Come on U+Mobile TV in South Korea.

Before that, he starred in the mini-drama Finland Papa, and had a supporting role in Bulgasal: Immortal Souls in 2021.

As for Zero Period Is Social Butterflies’ Time, the upcoming drama follows unpopular Ji Eun (played by Kang Na Eon) who begins managing an anonymous community app called Social Butterflies’ time.

Because of this, she suddenly knows the secrets of many of the school’s students, including those in the most popular clique, and becomes involved with the students in the clique she once wanted to join.

Kim Woo Seok plays popular student Kang Woo Bin.

Woo Bin is an idol trainee at a major entertainment company with a carefully manufactured image but, with a secret that, if it gets out on the app, could destroy his career.

For some reason, he suddenly finds himself in an awkward situation with Ji Eun.

There is no word yet on which OTT platform Zero Period Is Social Butterflies’ Time will stream on, but we will update you here at Leo Sigh as soon as that information is released.

Meanwhile, you can watch Kang Na Eon in Crash Course in Romance on Netflix, and Kim Woo Seok in Bulgasal: Immortal Souls on the same platform.
