Korean actor Kim Jung Hyun’s new agency, Siseon, has announced they have signed the actor after he left his previous agency, Story J Company, back in February.
The 35-year-old actor, known for his roles in dramas like Mr. Queen, Iron Family, School 2017 and Crash Landing on You, had been with Story J Company since September, 2021 so, in the realm of Korean talent agencies, his relationship with them was quite a short one.
Management Siseon announced his signing earlier this week with the usual agency-style comment:
We are delighted to welcome Kim Jung Hyun. We will spare no effort in supporting him, a uniquely talented actor with his own distinct color, to fully showcase his abilities.
We ask for your continued interest in Kim Jung Hyun’s journey as he takes on diverse projects and expands his career.
Co-star in Mr. Queen Shin Hye Sun also signed with Management Siseon a few days ago, while supporting actress in the same drama, Cha Chung Hwa, was also recently signed by the same agency.
As for Kim Jung Hyun, he recently appeared in his first ever long-running weekend drama with a starring role in the smash-hit Iron Family, and now has a support role in the upcoming JTBC drama A Hundred Memories.
If Management Siseon is true to their word, chances are we will see him appearing in even more main and supporting roles soon. Fingers crossed.
