Kim Soo Hyun, Jo Bo Ah, Yoo Jae Myung, Lee Jung Eun to star in Knock Off

The final cast list for the upcoming Korean drama Knock Off has been confirmed via Korean entertainment news media, and it is an absolutely superb one featuring some of South Korea’s best and most well-known actors.

In both main roles, and in the Kdrama’s fabulous supporting cast.

The Knock Off cast includes main leads Kim Soo Hyun (Queen of Tears) and Jo Bo Ah (starred in both seasons of Tale of the Nine-Tailed), alongside Yoo Jae Myung (Song of the Bandits), Lee Jung Eun (Miss Night and Day), Kim Hye Eun (Not Others), Kim Eui Sung (Taxi Driver), Kwon Nara (The Midnight Studio), Park Se Wan (Doona!), Go Kyu Pil (Frankly Speaking), Jung Man Shik (A Bloody Lucky Day), Kim Moo Yeol (Sweet Home) and Kang Mal Geum (Divorce Attorney Shin).

Star of the film 2022 film Hail to Hell, Bang Hyo Rin, is also joining the cast.

Park Hyun Suk, director of the excellent Song of the Bandits, is directing.

The Korean drama is currently scheduled to air exclusively on Disney+ some time in 2025.

The plot of Knock Off and the parts each cast member will take

The Knock Off plot is also an interesting one as it follows a man who, after losing everything due to the 1997 Asian financial crisis, begins selling counterfeit goods and eventually becomes the king of knock offs.

Kim Soo Hyun plays Kim Seong Jun, the new knock off king, with Jo Bo Ah as Song Hye Jeong, a police officer who goes after him.

Yoo Jae Myung is Kim Man Sik, Kim Seong Jun’s father, and the person who first introduced him to the world of counterfeit goods, while Lee Jung Eun is his mother.

Bang Hyo Rin plays Bae Nu Ri, the chairwoman of Saemmul Market – a market known for its high number of counterfeit products.

Kim Eui Sung plays Bae Pil Gu, a prominent finger in the Busan counterfeit world, and also Bae Nu Ri’s uncle.

Kim Hye Eun is Bae Nu Ri’s lawyer Jang Ji Soo, while Go Kyu Pil has accepted the role of her right-hand man, Tonkatsu, and also the leader of Saemmul Market.

Kwan Nara plays Moon Yu Bin, a designer of counterfeit bags, while Park Se Wan is her younger sister Moon Da Bin.

Finally, working together to stop the counterfeiters is Kim Moo Yeol as Baek Jong Min, the Counterfeit Task Force leader, Jung Man Shik as detective Lee Ki Bong, and Kang Mal Geum who is playing counterfeit goods department investigator Jegal Hyeon Suk.

Now if that isn’t already one of the best casts of 2025 while still months away from the new year, I don’t know what is.
