Koo Kyo Hwan and Go Youn Jung starring in K-drama Everyone is Fighting Their Own Worthlessness? Here’s what we know..

According to Korean entertainment news media, Korean actors Koo Kyo Hwan and Go Youn Jung are said to be starring in upcoming new drama ‘모두가 자신의 무가치함과 싸우고 있다 ‘- (translation Everyone is Fighting Their Own Worthlessness).

The Korean drama is written by My Liberation Notes screenwriter Park Hae Young, and is being directed by Cha Young Hoon (Welcome to Samdal-ri).

In response to the reports, both Koo Kyo Hwan’s agency Namoo Actors and Go Youn Jung’s agency MAA responded that offers have been received and are being considered.

Koo Kyo Hwan and Go Youn Jung’s careers to-date

After all, Koo Kyo Hwan’s spectacular acting skills have caused him to win various awards for performances in films like Jane, Beaten Black and Blue, Peninsula and Escape from Mogadishu, and for his performance in the hit Netflix military action drama D.P.

If he does accept the Everyone is Fighting Their Own Worthlessness, it will mean 2025 is going to be a very busy for the 42-year-old actor.

After all, he is already set to star in upcoming films Snowfall, Once We Were Us, Colony and Finding the King, as well as in K-drama Insiders.

Go Youn Jung, while younger at just 28, has also starred in some outstanding Korean dramas over the last few years. Including Netflix hit Sweet Home, fantasy romance drama Alchemy of Souls 1 and 2, and Death’s Game.

She is also currently co-starring in the Hospital Playlist spin-off Resident Playbook on tvN alongside Shin Shi Ah, Kang Yoo Seok, Han Ye Ji and Jung Jun Won.

And turned in a superb performance in the massively successful K-drama Moving that culminated in her receiving a Blue Dragon Series Award as Best New Actress last year, as well as a Baeksang Arts Awards nomination for the same role.

Meanwhile, not much has been released about the upcoming K-drama so far although, I will say, if the two actors do accept their offers, this could be a very interesting pairing.
