Lady Gaga Gets Engaged to Taylor Kinney on Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day was definitely a good day for Lady Gaga, as she got to engaged to long-time boyfriend Taylor Kinney. The 28-year-old singer confirmed her engagement yesterday with a photograph on Instagram showing off her enormous heart-shaped engagement ring.

“He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said YES!”, she said in the photograph’s caption.

After he proposed, Gaga and Kinney celebrated their engagement at the restaurant her family owns on the Upper West Side of New York City, with The Guardian reporting her father popped open a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney have been together since 2011, when the singer met him on the set of one of her music videos. Their relationship has been kept largely away from the view of fans and paparazzi, however, which is nice in this day and age.

So far, Gaga has not mentioned anything about a wedding date or where, in fact, the wedding will take place. Let’s just say, when it does, that’s going to be one of the biggest events in a paparazzi’s year.
