Texas post-rock band Explosions in the Sky’s ‘Never, Never, Never Give Up‘ was featured on the latest episode of the motoring series ‘The Grand Tour’ this week — *December 23rd, 2016), Season 1, Episode 6, “Happy Finnish Christmas“. It was played at the end of the episode.
The track is originally from the soundtrack of the 2013 movie ‘Lone Survivor‘. A movie that was co-scored by both Explosions in the Sky and Steve Jablonsky and, as it’s a war movie, it’s part of why the military sounding drums appears in this track.
‘Never, Never, Never Give Up‘ is the second track Explosions in the Sky has had featured on a TV series in the last month, with their ‘The Ecstatics‘ appearing in The Vampire Diaries in November.
