Future Islands’ song ‘Swept Inside‘ was featured on the latest episode of the AMC series Fear The Walking Dead — 18th September, Season 2, Episode 12 “Pillar of Salt“. It was played during the montage when Montage and Madison got the generator working, Alicia learns how to surf and Victor makes a drink.
As for Future Islands, they are a three-member American synth-pop band that originally formed in North Carolina, but is now based out of Baltimore.
The band currently has four albums out, as well as two EPs.
‘Swept Inside‘ is from Future Island’s In Evening Air album, which was released in 2010. Sadly, it did not get as much attention as it should have done, as it really is a superb album, with a little bit of a 1980s British electro-pop sound but completely unique in its own right.
