Listen to Ingrid Michaelson’s ‘Light Me Up’ from Pretty Little Liars — so pretty

Pretty Little Liars is still serving up some incredible music, seven seasons in, as it proved yet again last week when indie pop singer songwriter Ingrid Michaelson’s ‘Light Me Up‘ appeared on the soundtrack of the latest episode — Season 7, Episode 17, “Driving Miss Crazy” (6th June, 2017).

The track was played when Ezra tells Aria about his ideal song for their first dance, and then when Caleb proposes to Hanna and they kiss, and it is such a pretty song.

It is also not the first time Ingrid Michaelson’s ‘Light Me Up‘ has appeared on the soundtrack of a popular teen TV show. The song was also chosen for the soundtrack of The Vampire Diaries earlier in the year.

Light Me Up‘ is the first song from Michaelson’s 2016 seventh studio album It Doesn’t Have To Make Sense and, although it was released as a promotional single, it was not an official single from the album.

A little odd considering how much more popular of a song it is than others from the album.

Listen to it below and you will see why.

And, if you like what you hear, you can buy It Doesn’t Have To Make Sense on most major music sites.
