Two Klaus Nomi tracks were featured on the soundtrack of the new episode of We Are Who We Are this week — We Are Who We Are, Season 1, Episode 2, “Right here, right now“.
The first is here, the second, Klaus Nomi’s ‘Wasting My Time’ was played at the end of the episode.
‘Wasting My Time‘ is from Nomi’s self-titled debut studio album. The track was written by the artist in collab with Scott Woody.
Nomi’s debut album was one of only two albums he released during his lifetime, with a third released after his death at the age of 39 from complications connected to AIDS.
German indie singer Nomi was a countertenor — a male singer whose vocal range is equivalent to a female contralto. His distinctive voice earned him a huge cult following in both Europe and the United States.
A following that only grew after his death.
