I first came across British singer songwriter Laura Mvula when Austrian singer Conchita Wurst, the reason I moved to Vienna and my favorite artist, kept mentioning in interviews how fabulous she thought Mvula was. I watched a few of Mvula’s videos and had to agree with Conchita. She really is a phenomenal talent.
So, this week, I was happy to hear Laura Mvula’s ‘Show Me Love’ featured in the latest episode of ‘Shameless‘ (18th December, 2016) — Season 7, Episode 12, “Requiem for a Slut“. The track was played during the show’s last scene, and is a stunning song.
Mvula’s ‘Show Me Love‘ is the fourth single from her sophomore album The Dreaming Room. An album that was critically acclaimed as one of the best albums in the UK this year.
