English-Irish soul and R&B singer songwriter Maverick Sabre’s ‘Glory (Acoustic)‘ was featured on the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy this week — Grey’s Anatomy, Season 16, Episode 19, “Love of My Life” (aired on 26th March, 2020).
The track was heard as we saw Dr. Cormac’s flashback to his wife, her illness and subsequent death.
Maverick Sabre’s ‘Glory (Acoustic)‘ is from the singer’s 2019 five-track EP When You Wake Up (Acoustic). The non-acoustic original version of the song is from his full-length album of the same name.
And, while the singer’s recorded acoustic track was lovely in itself, an even better utterly gorgeous soulful performance is his exclusive VEVO official performance, which was recorded not long after his EP release in April, 2019.
That lovely piece of work was created live with the help of just a keyboardist and a guitarist. It also came with a superb live performance of Maverick Sabre’s ‘Preach‘.
