English space rock band Spiritualized’s ‘Come Together‘ was the song playing on this week’s Ted Lasso during the end scenes after Ted gives his “We will get better, we just need to believe in each other” speech to the team.
It continued playing over the episode’s end credits — Ted Lasso, Season 3, Episode 5, “Signs“.
The track itself came out in 1997 as the third single from the band’s Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space album, which was released on the Dedicated label.
The song also ended up with two remixes — a Richard Fearless Remix, and a Two Lone Swordsmen Remix — which both came out a year later.
The Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space was the British band’s third studio album, and was both critically acclaimed and loved by fans.
It went on to be named by several critics as one of the best albums of the 1990s.
The album also charted at #4 on the UK Albums chart, at #26 on the United States’ Heatseekers Albums chart and in Sweden.
Spiritualized itself was founded in 1990 and, while it has had different line-ups over the last 30-plus years, the rock band is still together today.
Original frontman Jason Pierce is also still the Spiritualized lead singer.
