Tyler, the Creator’s ‘Boredom‘ accompanied Liam and his lemonade stand on Shameless
The latest episode of the Showtime series Shameless featured a heckuva lot of songs on its soundtrack — 28 songs, if I am not mistaken — during Season 9, Episode 10, “Los Diablos!” of the popular long-running comedy-drama.
One of the standout songs of the show this week, however, was Tyler, the Creator’s ‘Boredom’ (featuring English recording artist Rex Orange County and Norwegian singer Anna of the North).
Written by Tyler, that track was heard as Liam and his friends are running a lemonade stand outside Clancy’s house. Clancy then decides to call the police.
It continues playing as the police arrive, and tell them they must shut it down.
Tyler, the Creator’s ‘Boredom‘ is from the American rapper’s 2017 fourth album Flower Boy.
Released on July 17th, 2017, the album was an enormous commercial and critical hit for the rapper.
It debuted in the number two spot on the Billboard 200 chart, and was ultimately nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.
‘Boredom’ was the second of four singles from Flower Boy. The song also features additional vocals from British singer Corinne Bailey Rae.
