Minecraft Classic Survival Island map – Dave Chaos is awesome, now I want to play

I only recently started playing Minecraft (yeah, I’m a bit late to the party), so hadn’t ever seen the Minecraft Classic Survival Island map before. But Dave Chaos, brand new member of The Yogscast, started playing the Minecraft Classic Survival Island map last month and I’m  currently watching his gameplay videos.

To say I’m addicted to them would be an understatement, which is also really odd as much of Minecraft Classic Survival Island is nothing more than watching Dave walking around collecting resources, building things and whacking zombies occasionally. Go figure.

In a weird way, though, Dave’s videos are kind of calming and great to watch right before you turn in for the night.

You can download the Minecraft Classic Survival Island map here, if you’re interested to see if you can do a better job than Dave. I already did and, once I’ve finished watching all of Dave Chaos’ videos, I’m going to get going on the map myself. I really can’t wait.

As for Dave Chaos’ Minecraft Classic Survival Island map, you can watch the first one below. Be warned, though, his voice is kind of hypnotic. I think that’s his secret.
