The stunning Mireille Enos was a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, where Ellen got her to admit that, before she was given the lead role in the new Shonda Rhimes’ drama The Catch she had never watched a single episode of any of Rhimes’ shows.
Enos told Ellen she had never seen a single episode of Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, or How to Get Away with Murder.
She went on to say, when she was offered the lead of The Catch she loved the script but had just never seen any of Shonda’s other shows as she doesn’t watch much TV except for kids’ shows with her two young children.
“But I didn’t admit that to her (Rhimes)”, she said. “After she offered me the job, I went and watched lots of episodes of things. I watched How To Get Away with Murder and the pilot of Scandal.
Of course, Ellen then had to make fun of her watching “the pilot of Scandal and nothing else. “A lot happens from there”, quipped Ellen.
As for Enos, she is known for her lead role in the long-running AMC TV series The Killing, for playing Brad Pitt’s wife in the film World War Z, and for starring alongside Reese Witherspoon in Devil’s Knot.
The Catch is getting mainly favorable reviews after its first episode last week, but Mireille Enos’ performance is already being highly praised.
