This Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden walkthrough is superb, and fun
The new turn-based strategy RPG Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden released on December 4th. Developed by Swedish developer The Bearded Ladies, it is a game that has been getting very positive reviews, even considering its steep learning curve.
I have been playing the game for about a week now and, although I think it is a fun game to play, with gorgeous artwork, some brilliant maps and phenomenal voice acting, I still found it incredibly challenging.
Primarily due to Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden being pretty unbalanced when it comes to the turn-based combat, and me getting my butt kicked more times than I would like.
As I absolutely love the game, though, after a few hours of this, I turned to YouTube to find a gamer currently uploading a Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden walkthrough.
Christopher Odd’s Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden gameplay
That came in the form of Canadian gamer Christopher Odd, who has just finished an entire Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden walkthrough in very hard mode.
That means enemies deal a lot more damage, your Stalkers do not regenerate health after combat and Skill Cooldowns don’t reset after combat either.
Christopher Odd’s Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden walkthrough is the entire game, including all cut scenes, and he does a superb job of explaining the mechanics of the game, how good or bad weaponry is, the advantages of certain weapons mods, and how to set up combat before going into it.
He also shows off the importance of scouting well, so you pick up all the scrap on each map and find all the cool places and things you can investigate.
As his walkthrough continues, his commentary is helpful too, with hints about improving your gameplay I did not always know.
