First up, he’s about to grace our screens in the upcoming SBS drama Our Movie—and now, rumor has it, he might also be diving into a brand-new romance drama titled The Completion of Marriage.

Yep, word on the K-entertainment street is that Namkoong Min is currently in talks to take the lead role in the series.

His agency, 935 Entertainment, chimed in with the usual cryptic-but-hopeful update: “The actor has received the script and is reviewing it positively.”

Just as he’s on the brink of finalizing a divorce, Kang Tae Joo’s wife gets kidnapped (yikes).

What follows is a dangerous cat-and-mouse game with a criminal, while Tae Joo wrestles with his feelings and starts questioning whether the love is really gone—or just buried under layers of life’s chaos.

If Namkoong Min signs on, he will step into the role of Kang Tae Joo. Which, let’s be honest, sounds tailor-made for his emotionally intense, always-compelling acting style.
