New My Daughter Left the Nest video features Angeline and Belgrieve’s close relationship

Angeline and Belgrieve character video is the latest sweet thing from My Daughter Left the Nest..

The utterly delightful ongoing anime My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer has had a new video released.

This time it is a character video featuring protagonists Angeline and Belgrieve.

A sweet video that zones in on the close relationship between adopted daughter Angeline and retired adventurer and father Belgrieve, as it shows Angeline working hard as an adventurer while Belgrieve waits at home reading the letters she sends.

The sweet Angeline and Belgrieve character video ends with Angeline finally arriving back home — just as she does at the end of Episode 3.

Alongside the clips from the My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer anime series, the short character video also introduces the two superb voice actors that bring Angeline and Belgrieve to life.

They are Saori Hayami (Yor in SPY x FAMILY), who plays Ange, and Junichi Suwabe (Yami in Black Clover) who voices Belgrieve.

What is My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer based on?

The ongoing anime series My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer is based on the light novel series by Mojikakiya and Toi8.

It tells the story of Belgrieve, an adventurer who loses his leg when he is attacked by a monster, and so has to retire from adventuring. Several years later, while out looking for herbs, he comes across an abandoned baby left in the woods alone.

Belgrieve names the child Angeline and brings her up as his own daughter, until the day comes when she is old enough to head off to the city to train as an adventurer.

Now, almost six years later, Angeline comes back to visit Belgrieve, but this time as one of the country’s strongest adventurers.

My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer is directed by Takeshi Mori (Gunsmith Cats) and Naoki Murata (episode director of The Rising of the Shield Hero).

Series composition is by Yuichiro Momose (So I’m a Spider, So What?), and character designs by Jun Shibata.

Typhoon Graphics is in charge of anime production.
