With Proud Swordsman 2 (aka Renjian Zui Deyi 2) premiering on Tencent’s streaming platform today, two new posters of protagonist Li Fuyao have been released via Suoyi Technology’s Weibo account this week.
Both posters show a Li Fuyao who is as confident about himself and his skills as he was throughout all of the donghua’s first season.
Along with the release of the second poster, Suoyi Technology commented about what we can expect in the second season, along with its release schedule:

Yes, fans of the series will be thrilled to hear six episodes of Season 2 have all been released at once, and they are all now streaming via Tencent, with Tencent Animation’s YouTube channel also likely to be dropping them in the next couple of days.
Looks like the four extra episodes are the “more surprises” Suoyi Technology promised last week. Pretty cool, right?
Proud Swordsman 2 details
Proud Swordsman 2 is animated by the aforementioned Suoyi Technology, and produced by Tencent Penguin Pictures.
It is based on the novel series written by Zi Moqian, and is directed by Li Tinghe, who also directs 100,000 Years of Qi Refining.
The first season of the Chinese martial arts series premiered on October 27th, 2021 and ran through May 11, 2022 for a total of 60 episodes, so it has been quite a while since we have been able to catch up on Li Fuyao and friends’ escapades.
There is no word yet on how many episodes we can expect in the second season, but it is likely to be at least the same.
