There are a whole slew of Solo Leveling 2 character visuals that came out via the anime’s official X account earlier today.
Well, four at least — one for each of the four Solo Leveling main characters — Jin Woo, Hae In, Jong In and Yoon Ho — as well as a gorgeous new key visual. (see below)
A short teaser trailer for Solo Leveling -ReAwakening-, the Season 1 recap film, was also released. (watch below)
That recap film is due to hit movie theaters in both Japan and South Korea at the end of November, with a release in the U.S., Canada and other regions in December.
Now, personally, I have never understood the need for a recap movie — other than to milk yet more money out of fans by a greedy production company, that is — but, if wasting your time watching something you have already seen in a condensed version is your thing, have at it.
Well, that and the recap movie does include the first two episodes of Season 2 so, if you want to be ahead of the pack, here’s your chance.
Now enjoy these beautiful new Solo Leveling 2 character visuals (although, frankly, Jin Woo looks odd to me?).
And yes, they do feature the Japanese character names because, you know, South Korea and Japan don’t have the best relationship in the world, so the Japanese couldn’t possibly have Korean names for their characters.
(And if we want to take that stupidity to the extreme Japan has done, maybe we can start Anglicizing Japanese anime names because, you know, Pearl Harbor (shrug).)

Shunsuke Nakashige is back directing the anime’s second season, Noboru Kimura is also again in charge of series composition, while Tomoko Sudou will once again design the characters — which are looking hella sharp in those just released new character visuals.
The voice actors are also back to reprise their roles.
And, of course, it would be a travesty if A-1 Pictures didn’t return to animate.
Meanwhile, Solo Leveling 2 (aka Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- or Ore dake Level Up na Ken Season 2: Arise from the Shadow) is scheduled to hit streaming services some time in January.
We will update you here at Leo Sigh as soon as we know a more exact date and time.
