New Wealth and Wonder trailer – Chu Yi’s popularity soars when players learn he spent 30 billion won

Following on from the beautiful wallpapers released for the upcoming Chinese donghua Wealth and Wonder earlier in the week, a new trailer has now also dropped.

And that rapid release of information seems to suggest we may be getting the animated series earlier than some of us expected, right?

The latest Wealth and Wonder trailer is just over a minute long, but it still gives us a good idea about the donghua’s plot, its style (dramatic but also comedic), and the way protagonist Chu Yi immediately becomes a big star in the online game Era as soon as other players realize he’s just spent 30 billion won.

Like the previously released trailer, and the wallpapers, it also shows a high-tech video game world that is beautifully designed, and with animation that looks fluid and really nicely done.

Then again, Wealth and Wonder (aka克金玩家) is animated by Qingxiang Culture Animation, who has just done a bang-up job animating World of Immortals, and produced by YOUKU who rarely releases anything shabby.

What we know about Wealth and Wonder so far

The Chinese anime finally has a premiere date of some time this summer.

It follows protagonist Chu Yi, whose parents’ company, The Chu Group, developed a virtual game called Era and then, as soon as it launched, mysteriously disappeared.

It is now up to Chu Yi, along with the 30 billion won he will be spending in the game, to figure out what happened to his father and mother, while trying to figure out who is behind the mysterious organization that seems to be involved.

Watch the just-released Wealth and Wonder trailer down below, and we will keep you up-to-date here on Leo Sigh as more information about the Chinese donghua hits.
