Odesza perform ‘Line of Sight‘ and ‘Higher Ground‘ live on Jimmy Kimmel
Seattle based electronic music duo Odesza appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night where they performed two songs ‘‘Line of Sight” and “Higher Ground“.
It wasn’t just Odesza on the show, however, as it was also some pretty fabulous backing singers, strings and a horn section.
But the impressive duo did not stop there.
They had also invited singer Naomi Wild to sing “Higher Ground” — a song from their new album, and one on which they collaborated with her for the album recording of the track as well,
Both “Line of Sight“and “Higher Ground“are from Odesza’s third studio album A Moment Apart. The 16-track album hit the number 3 spot on the US Billboard 200 Chart and number 1 on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
It was generally also favorably reviewed by critics (except, of course, Pitchfork whose reviews at this point are so biased they’re largely irrelevant).
The duo themselves are currently on tour with their next concert tomorrow night at the Greek Theater in Berkeley. Their US tour will end on the 31st December in Denver, Colorado.
They will pick up touring again on February 2nd, 2018 in Adelaide, Australia. You can check all upcoming tour dates on their website, although most shows are already sold out.
