Russian video game developer Owlcat Games has announced the third and final Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous DLC and its release date of September 29th for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
Called Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous — Treasure of the Midnight Isles, the DLC will be out for PC on August 11th.
It will be purchasable by both Season Pass and as a standalone addition to the base game.
Along with the announcement, a Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous — Treasure of the Midnight Isles trailer was also released today.
The trailer is just over 50 seconds in length, but it gives players an idea of the type of game play and atmosphere they can expect.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous — Treasure of the Midnight Isles takes place on an archipelago, with a cursed ship anchored next to one of its piers.
Various crews board the ship hoping to be taken to a place where rare treasure is to be found, but few ever return.
Which one will you be? A successful adventurer or lost forever to an enemy you did not even know existed?
As for the DLC itself, whether Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous — Treasure of the Midnight Isles does particularly well sales-wise, however, is anyone’s guess.
After all, it has been developed by a Russian company based in Moscow, and with Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine, many people gamers included are avoiding purchasing anything coming out of the country.
Watch the Treasure of the Midnight Isles trailer below, and make up your mind what your own thoughts are about that.
